Must have 3 years of experience as a Directional Drill Locator
A valid driver's license is required (CDL preferred).
Must be able to follow instructions.
Must be physically able to stoop, kneel, crouch, and dig.
Must be physically able to climb ladders.
Must be physically able to lift, carry and place heavy objects.
Must be able to pass a drug test

RTEL Construction, LTD. is a family owned and operated business based out of Aubrey TX that works throughout the DFW Metroplex. As a Telecommunication Specialist we work in all aspects of Fiber Optic and Coax placement, including trenching, directional drilling, aerial placement, and fiber optic splicing.

The current position we are actively looking to fill is a Directional Drill Locator.
Responsibilities for a Directional Drill Locator:
Knowledgeable of reading and understanding prints, maps, and work orders
Knowledgeable in the operation of Ditch Witch and DCI locating equipment
Ability to pothole existing utilities by hand and with vac-tron.
Ability to walk out job with drill operator to confirm running lines.
Ability to navigate bore head through normal areas and high risk areas
Ability to work in an outdoor environment during all times of the year
Direct traffic flow in accordance with local D.O.T. guidelines
Position requires daily attendance and on time arrival
Willingness to work both individually and in a team environment
Ability to communicate professionally with co-workers, homeowners, and our customers
