Seeking Directional Drill Operator/Locator

Will be working mainly in about a 60 mile radius around Atlanta.

Pay
Pay is from $15-$20 an hour based on experience
Qualifications
Must be able to operate a Vermeer 10X15 Directional Drill, locator, follow job prints, supervise crew, work safely and in a timely manner.
Other Requirements
Must have clean MVR, pass background and drug tests. Must also be able to drive a 13 ton truck with trailer.
Job Description
-Individual will be going to job sites and following prints to use drill and other equipment to install cable or fiber.
-Support prep work consisting of digging potholes/hand holes, entry/exit pits, and other , mini excavator, or hand held tools.
-Identify/Read locate paint or locate flags of existing utility lines. Possess the ability to “read job layouts” and identify any other utility which may have not been located or not required to be located. i.e. valves, meter housings, etc.
-Ensuring Company assets (vehicles, equipment, tools, etc.) are properly and continuously maintained in good repair and secured in a safe manner.
-Manage/Organize materials such as blueprints and other resources necessary to complete excavation requirements, which may include basic hand tools.
-A good work ethic.
-Must have good communication skills and a positive attitude.
-Able to work in a fast paced environment.
-Ability to work safely, with or without supervision.
-Ability to operate equipment, including, but not limited to directional -drills, locating systems, trencher, backhoe, excavators,.
-Must be knowledgeable with all typical safety procedures and apply them at all times.
-Work outside in all types of weather.
