Qualifications
Two year associate degree; and four to six years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must successfully complete Leadership and Supervisory Skills course within one year of becoming Technical Operations Manager.
Previous cable/telecommunications/MSO experience preferred.
Previous supervisory experience preferred.
Must possess a valid driver’s license.
Job Description
Cable ONE is hiring a Technical Operations Manager in the Borger, TX office. Technical Operations Managers oversee a team of Cable Installation Technicians, Supervisors, and Headend Engineers. Also responsible for the maintenance and operation of the HFC network.
Responsibilities:
-Distribute work assignments to field personnel.
-Evaluate the quality of the field work and ensure it aligns with the Cable ONE engineering practices.
-Oversees the training for field personnel.
-Creates the technical expense report and budget for department.
-FCC testing and documentation.
-Prepares CIRs, RFPs, and other assigned reports to Corporate office.
Located in Borger, TX. Expected to travel to Elk City, OK at least once per week.
