Associates degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or 5 years of experience as a lead worker or five years of experience in the construction field, at least 2 of those years must have been in a supervisory role, or any equivalent combination of education and experience. KGPCo is seeking talented, experienced, and driven OSP Underground Construction Inspectors to join our team in Orlando Florida to in the deployment of our customers network.
The purpose of this position is to oversee sub-contractors and in house crews and ensure quality service is being performed. The OSP Underground Construction Inspectors is responsible for coordination, delegation, supervision and quality control of onsite work including responsibility for performance and productivity of all crew members and accuracy of all related documentation.


Qualified candidates should meet the following requirements:
5+ years telecom supervisory experience
Strong fiber background
Experience managing contractors and coordinating multi-site construction projects
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Office programs.
Some travel may be required. Less than 25%.

Physical Requirements:
Must be able to pass pre-employment screening that includes background and drug testing
Individuals must have a valid driver's license and driving record meeting the company policy conditions
Must be in good physical condition with the ability to stoop, crawl, bend at the knees and waist, squat and lift 50 lbs; includes body weight, equipment, tools and boxes
Must be able to stand for long periods of time on varied surfaces
May be required to work long and unpredictable hours
Primary Responsibilities:
Coordinate with local management on daily program.
Ability to plan, layout, and supervise the activities of a working with crews performing varied tasks.
Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws including, but not limited to, planning, assigning, and directing work; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Understand, train and enforce proper documentation of pay activities (work orders, dailies, time sheets, etc.)
Provide exemplary customer service to customers, corporate leadership, subordinate supervisors and technicians, and instill technicians with professional, customer service driven attitude
Responsible for safety and vehicle inspections
Adhere to safety policies and lead by example
Accurately document correspondence with customers
