Qualifications
Manager and Crews must have Telco experience in placing work, pole setting, transfers, and removals.
Other Requirements
Manager position will require knowledge of Telco plant and good computer skills. Work is generated, tracked, and reported online with email and .pdf format files. Crews must have trucks and equipment capable of setting, transferring, and removing poles.
Job Description
Work is largely pole transfer and removal work with some make ready. About 5% of the current work to date involves pole setting, some in power. Contract does provide for the optional ability to participate in other Lump Sum Bids that could involve placing of fiber, copper, pole placing, or a combination of tasks. Now going into our 4th year we are looking to add more crews.
The Manager position will include a company vehicle for business use only. The job is to include pre-survey, materials pick up, work assignment, tracking, and processing of completed jobs. All work is documented with before/after pics and sent to customer via email so strong computer skills are a must. This job is less dependent on physical exertion and more on office time so this may be perfect for that retired lineman!
