Qualifications
5 years in the OSP cable industry
3+ years in cable construction
Working knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft Office programs
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Candidate must have own vehicle in acceptable condition (to be determined by hiring manager) - mileage reimbursement will be paid at standard Federal rate.
Other Requirements
Overtime will be required at times based on volume of work. Some travel.

Overview
PRG is in need of a Network Field Coordinator to help with a telelcommunications fiber project in the Irvine, California area.
Responsibilities
•Perform planning and implementation of the tasks that support ongoing operations & maintenance of the network.
•Provide regular communication to management regarding performance, technical or administrative issues and operational enhancements.
•Maximize network uptime and promptly repair network failures including equipment failure.
•Maintain, revise and track process/operations documentation.
•Prepare and implement MOPs, update network documentation based on changes in network topology.
•Diagnose physical and network connectivity issues on links between routers, switches and customer facing services.
•Ability to install, test and troubleshoot complex faults on active components i.e. OLT failures, aggregation routers, line cards, SFPs.
•Be available to assist with network repair/incidents and manage change events 24/7 including weekends when required.
•Work with NOC, engineering, vendors and customers to resolve incident tickets.
