Job Description and Responsibilities :
The Financial Analyst provides general financial and analytical support and makes recommendations for improving financial activities, processes and the collection, consolidation and reporting of financial-performance information.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Assist in the consolidation, reporting and modeling of the financial results for the Company
Coordinate and communicate with Accounting Operations department to ensure timely, accurate, and consistent reporting of financial information
Determines financial status by comparing and analyzing plans and forecasts with actual results
Improves financial status by analyzing results and variances; identifying trends; recommending actions
Ensure the timely review of financial results so it can be provided to Senior Management
Integrate functions, processes and systems to optimize resources and create value
Develop, enhance and deliver existing and new performance measurements/metrics and utilize dashboard capabilities for distribution to field offices
Spearhead changes with the field and suggest claw-backs to help maximize profitability
Increases productivity by developing automated applications; eliminating duplications; coordinating information requirements
Supervisory Responsibilities
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Minimum 1-4 years of progressive financial or accounting work experience including interaction with corporate and business unit management
Proficient in the use of MS Excel (particularly pivot tables, v-lookup, macros), PowerPoint
Integrated financial systems experience preferred
Knowledge of general reporting, reconciliations and expense analysis
Ability to manage multiple priorities with competing demands for time and resources to successfully meet project and schedule deadlines
Exceptional written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
Must possess strong analytical skills, a high level of attention to detail
Ability to work in a team environment
Ability to operate independently with a sense of urgency
Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree (BS) in Finance, Accounting or Business from 4-year College or university; or four to seven years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
