Entry level technicians starting between $13-$16 per hour.
Qualifications
We're looking to hire 10 techs for entry level positions that don't require experience, although you must be able to meet the following criteria: ability to be on time, a good work ethic, put forth effort, a positive attitude, the passion for learning new skills, coachable, and always being prepared. Bilingual is a plus (English/Spanish).
Other Requirements
This position will primarily work within the south Inland Empire and central Orange County, but some travel and overnight stays may be required (per diem will be covered). The work schedule is Monday through Friday, but there are times when nights and weekends are required. Individuals will be required to pass a pre-employment drug test, have reliable transportation, have proper work boots, lift 50+ pounds and not be afraid of heights. This is a full-time position.
Job Description
The position involves performing the following tasks:
•Installing fiber optic cabling and 1" plastic innerduct in all types of environments (office buildings, manufacturing & industrial facilities, and campus environments).
•Fiber optic cable and or plastic innerduct to be placed in telecommunication pull boxes and manholes.
•Aerial fiber optic cable will be installed by lead technician but must be capable of assisting lead tech in aerial environments (most work is performed with bucket trucks.
•Assisting bore technicians with excavating tasks (installing ground rods next to telecommunication feeds).
•Assisting bore operators with excavating tasks (exposing underground utilities in asphalt or dirt).
