Job Description
• Installation from the tap to the customers equipment.
• Equipment Installation and Drop to the customers location.
•Test equipment, ability to use test meters to ensure customer satisfaction and optimal performance of CPE.
• Proficient in and Knowledge of the installation and service functions.
•Adaptability and being able to work in a team environment as well as independently
•Ability to handle various tasks simultaneously, organize, prioritize, make decisions and work efficiently and effectively under deadlines required
Job Requirements:
•Requires basic mechanical aptitude, ability to climb utility poles, work outdoors year round.
•Must be able to communicate both verbally and in writing with customers, peers, and superiors and follow instructions.
•Must have valid driver's license
•Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and crimshield background check.
•Electronics/Electrical or structured wiring background are preferred.
•Previous cable television or related experience is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
•Must be able to climb and lift/handle ladders weighing approximately 80 pounds .
•Must be able to use all safety equipment.
•Must be able to distinguish colors for phone installation.
•Physically able to work in adverse weather conditions and confined spaces.
•Must be able to work schedule to satisfy customer needs.
WS servicing Spectrum in the Lexington area.
