Job Description and Responsibilities :
The Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for the daily management and reconciliation of owned or consigned inventory stored in the field locations.
Primary Responsibilities:
Weekly reporting to Corporate Logistics Manager showing materials requisitions and usage
Maintain receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures
Receives and verifies accuracy of incoming shipments
Pulls and distributes materials, tools, or other stock items in order to fill requests
Control inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with data storage system
Maintain service schedule of fleet for the assigned location; Fills out truck maintenance log on a weekly basis
Sorts and places materials on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code. Marks materials with identifying information
Manage the daily tracking and management of equipment
Load and unload specific customer equipment on delivery truck
Fill requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distributes
Maintain clean work environment in the warehouse area
Maintain warehouse security at all times
Collaborate with Risk and Safety to ensure the location is in compliance with all safety (OSHA) and injury reporting
Maintains accurate inventory records through the use of a computerized inventory system
Utilizes material handling equipment such as forklifts, etc.
Other duties as assigned
Requirements :
Education:
High school diploma plus 12-18 month's experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience:
DOT medical card required
Technical Skills:
Ability to successfully complete forklift training and demonstrate the ability to operate the equipment
Soft Skills:
Highly organized and detail orientated
Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment under tight deadlines
Ability to read, comprehend and carry out instructions
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to pass pre-employment screening that includes background and drug testing
Individuals must have a valid driver's license and driving record meeting the company policy conditions
Must be in good physical condition with the ability to stoop, crawl, bend at the knees and waist, squat, push, pull, lift above the head, and lift 100 lbs; includes body weight, equipment, tools and boxes
Must be able to stand for long periods of time on varied surfaces
The ability to work weekends, nights, in extreme weather conditions if necessary, and be willing to travel extensively
May be required to work long and unpredictable hours
