TriWire Engineering Solutions, Inc. is currently searching for an experienced cable industry professional to become the Operations Manager for our Ann Arundel country location. We are interested in individuals with with a minimum of ten years of experience and previous knowledge of the Comcast system. The ideal candidate will have the responsibilities of planning, organizing, and controlling projects in accordance with the established TriWire policies and procedures. This position requires a self-starter with excellent communication and senior management skills.

The Director of Operations will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of staff while they are engaged all Telecommunication Projects, as related to the work that is being performed. A successful Manager of Operations will involve themselves with the oversight of project staff and subcontractors through infrastructure design, procurement, build and testing of all the affected communication networks associated with the project being managed.
Qualifications
•Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
•Minimum of ten (10) years of cable experience, with at least four (4) years in a supervisory project management capacity.
•Management/Supervisory experience in cable management, telecommunications techniques and procedures
•Previous experience and proven success in managing employees.
•Previous work in the Comcast system strongly preferred.
•Demonstrate excellent problem solving skills, self-motivation, leadership and team orientation
•Proficiency in Microsoft Office 2010 software applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
•Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex projects.
•Experience working with federal, state, county, or local government preferred.
•Ability to analyze and present complex technical information in a clear, concise, and understandable manner using strong budget and data analysis skills.
•Ideal candidate must have excellent attention to detail.
•Success in client relationships
•Experience in managing risk
•Strong verbal and written communication skills and a proven ability to communicate effectively at all levels both internal and external
•Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
•Lead employees to accomplish departmental and individual performance results. Communicate job expectations and establish, monitor, and appraise employee performance results.
•Manage, coach, and counsel employees. Ensure employee compliance with TriWire policies, procedures, and productivity standards.
•Hold weekly safety classes and perform safety checks for In-House personnel and monitor subcontractor safety performance

•Technical understanding of broadband communication networks
•Operational troubleshooting
•Driver’s license required
•Ability to travel as required, attend zoning/permitting meetings off-hours as needed
•Comfortable in self-directed environment
