Job Description

GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
This position will be responsible for the oversight, direction, and resources of multiple DAS projects.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES



Develop and execute project strategy and commitments including financial goals, scheduling, and inspections

Develop and establish new business opportunities, contracts, and customer relations with key contacts

Review financial and operational performance data to monitor and measure productivity and goal progress

Evaluate and coordinate customer requirements, project design, and key dates for phases of projects

Serve as a primary point of contact with the customer and provide continuous project updates

Read, comprehend, and interpret site plans, construction drawings and scope of work

Manage preparation of bill of materials (order shelters, equipment, and project materials)

Formulate necessary documents, prototypes, functional specifications in collaboration with other departments

Manage collection and review closeout documentation

Liaise with the Shared Services group to resolve concerns or issues within the projects

Metrics and reporting as needed

Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements :
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty mentioned satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Four year college degree, or equivalent experience resulting in broad knowledge of a field related to the job, such as construction management, project management, etc.


4+ years of management experience

5+ years related Project Management experience in DAS projects and/or related wireless infrastructure development including DAS antenna node side maintenance and indoor & outdoor DAS infrastructure installation


SOFTWARE SKILLS REQUIRED

Advanced: Contact Management, Spreadsheet, Word Processing/Typing

Intermediate: Database, Presentation/PowerPoint


ADDITIONAL SKILLS

Must be able to pass pre-employment screening that includes background and drug testing

Must have a valid driver’s license and a driving record that meets Company requirements

Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment

May be required to work long and unpredictable hours, travel up to 75% of the time, including short notice travel, which may include local site travel or national travel depending on business needs


SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.


COMMUNICATION SKILLS
Ability to read and understand simple instructions, short correspondence, notes, letters and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively communicate information and respond to questions in person-to-person and small group situations with customers, clients, general public and other employees of the organization.

DECISION MAKING
Performs work operations which permit frequent opportunity for decision-making of minor importance and also frequent opportunity for decision-making of major importance, either of which would affect the work operations of medium organizational component and the organization’s clientele.

ANALYTICAL ABILITY / PROBLEM SOLVING
Activities covered by expansive policies and objectives, and oversight as to execution and review. High order of analytical, interpretative, and constructive thinking in varied situations covering multiple areas of the organization.

USE OF MACHINES, EQUIPMENT AND/OR COMPUTERS
Occasional use of specialized or advanced software programs.

PUBLIC CONTACT
Frequent contacts with general public, customers, or other outside representatives, wherein the manner of handling these contacts has a bearing on the organization’s position and operation.

PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES
While performing the functions of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, talk or hear; frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and occasionally required to stand, walk.

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
