Pay
Hourly rate. Company vehicle, all tools to preform job, 401K, health Insurance, dental insurance, paid vacation. Pay based on expierence and performance.
Qualifications
Experienced coax splicer. Must know powering, read system prints, ability to splice to design and use an SLM. High School diploma or GED certificate plus minimum of 3 years of CATV splicing experience.
Job Description
We are a medium sized construction company seeking experienced Coax Splicers to join our team of industry professionals.
- Self-supervise all operations of splicing and activation in accordance with customer and industry specifications.
- Knowledge of RF Technology
- Activation of forward and return levels
- Troubleshoot splicing and system problems along with active and passive devices
- Final Certification of RF line and correct signal balance
- Read and understand site plans, maps and diagrams needed to support project
- Splice overhead and underground coax cables.
- Insure that all tools and equipment are available at the job site, be able to prep passives and actives for splicing.
- Climb utility poles when necessary to compete projects as needed
- Communicate with residents and commercial tenants to explain work when necessary.
- Capable in working in all temperatures, climates and weather conditions.
- Willingness to work shifts as assign, including overtime and occasional night cutovers.
