REQUIREMENTS:
Skills in ARAMIS software A MUST!
• Experienced in the use of office productivity tools including Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, Google Earth, Screen capturing and editing software
EXPERIENCE:
• Strong AutoCAD experience required
• Recent experience interpreting plan and profile view engineering and design documentation
Other Requirements
KNOWLEDGE:
• Working understanding of plan and profile creation for telecommunications systems
• Familiarity with AT&T systems; APEX, ARAMIS, CEPT, GRANITE, IMAGINE, IN-PLACE, LEIS, LFACS, MIC, NECAT, NOVA/FPA, OCALC, TELCO/CFAS desired
Job Description
Using computer assisted design/drafting (CAD) equipment and software to develop complete and accurate electronic working plans, elevations, details, charts, and/or revisions.
• Create and revise detailed electronic (CAD) working plans, charts, and/or scale drawings for telecommunications projects from existing drawings, measurements, sketches, specifications, etc.
• Prepare electronic architectural & engineering drawing sets, including (but not limited to) layouts, charts, detailed scale drawings, and equipment requirements as directed.
• Primary team member for printing, plotting and collating drawing sets.
• Create and modify drawing packages and permit drawings for wireless tower sites (including equipment in the compound and antenna equipment on the tower).
• Prepare CAD drawings, including construction details, notes, offsets, layout, plan views/elevations
• Complete markups
• Report graphics preparation
• Set-up and prepare plans
• Experience with telecommunications design and/or wireless design a plus
• Maintain QA/QC processes and requirements
• Interface with other engineering disciplines in the compilation of construction drawings sets
• Interpret engineering designs, redlines, and incorporate into drawing packages.
• Develop necessary templates used to create drawing packages.
• Collaborate with engineers to solve design issues that may arise.
• Resolve discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information through collaboration with the CAD department, tower structural analysts, project managers, and engineers.
