Qualifications
High school diploma or GED
At least five (5) years' experience as a communications construction supervisor
Must possess a valid driver's license with 2 years' driving experience and a clear driving record
Good customer relations and communication skills
Maintain a professional attitude and appearance
Must have RF & OSP experience
Be self-motivated and the ability to interact effectively and cooperatively with a wide variety of personalities
Ability to work independently and handle
Other Requirements
Be able to pass pre-employment drug screen and background checks
Must be willing to travel
Job Description
Essential Functions
Responsible for checking the quality of work performed on construction sites and remedying quality as necessary
Provide direction to staff to ensure efficient and cost effective operation within approved operating budgets
Responsible for total management of assigned staff. This includes hiring, disciplining, training and supervision of employees
Coordinate construction plans with crews and sub-contractors
Complete and maintain all necessary project paperwork
Communicate with management on project progress and developments
Serve as liaison between the Company, customers and utilities
Responsible for ordering and tracking construction materials
May layout and design construction maps, and work from the maps of others
Responsible to identify unsafe/hazardous conditions for self, other employees, customers, and the general public
Adhere to all established company safety policies and procedures
Perform other duties as assigned
