Skills in ARAMIS AND LIGHT GIG software A MUST!
• 2-5 years of telecommunications experience
• Use of office productivity tools: Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, Google Earth, screen capturing and editing software
• West Market: ARAMIS software experience required
• SW Market: OPTINT experience required
• SE Market: OPEDS/OSPCN software experience required
Other Requirements
EXPERIENCE:
• Strong AutoCAD experience required
• Recent experience interpreting plan and profile view engineering and design documentation
KNOWLEDGE:
• General knowledge of engineering principals specific to telecommunications
• Design criteria for telecom carriers (ATT, Verizon, T-Mobile, etc.) required
Job Description
We are currently seeking Sr. Fiber Engineer and Fiber Engineer in the various locations. Preferably in CA and Kansas City, MO areas.
Position is responsible for designing additions, upgrades, repairs and enhancements to the OSP network which includes all structures such poles and conduit systems, cable, and associated equipment.
• Design and engineer OSP telecommunications networks in buried, underground and aerial environments
• Create work prints for stakeholders
• Provide project management for lifecycle of work orders
