Job Description

ITC Service Group is currently hiring an Aerial Lineman in Tucson, AZ. ITC Service Group (“ITC”) is a full service provider of qualified personnel and managed services to the IT, Telecom and CATV industries for the planning, design, construction and maintenance of wireless and wireline communications networks worldwide.

Daily duties and responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
•Climbing utility poles and/or using aerial lift truck to place cables on poles per system design.

•Installing aerial and underground cables and/or support members in conformance with all applicable codes, regulations, and customer specifications (NESC).

•Pulling coax through existing duct package, pulling cable through conduit either manually, blowing, or mechanically, and splicing and activating underground and aerial lines.

•Ensuring that all needed tools and equipment are available at the jobsite, working from engineered blue prints, and completing all necessary paperwork to track and bill for the work performed.

•Ability to utilize bucket trucks, crawl spaces, ladders, ceilings, tunnels, and trenches to access various installation and construction points as required.

•Capability to work in all temperatures, climates, and weather conditions.

Required Skills:
•Experience in UG and/or Aerial coax, fiber, and copper construction.
•Possess Class A commercial driver’s license or be eligible and willing to acquire the CDL if needed.
•Skilled in coax splicing, balance actives, and troubleshooting RF levels using an RF meter.
•Proficient in new build, splicing, fiber installation, road widening, and pole transfers.
•Knowledge in building strand, lashing/over lashing, pole transfers, vertical grounds, and building and repairing aerial telecommunication transmission lines.
•Must be able to stand, walk, climb, bend, twist, push and pulling, and lifting and carrying objects (50+ lbs.).
