Job Description
Summary
The Finance Accountant position is responsible for all aspects of the G/L accounts for the Company, including preparation of journal entries, balance sheet and P&L analysis. Assist in the reconciliation of the intercompany balances with the corporate accountants. The staff accountant will interface with multiple departments as well as regional personnel in the field.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Assist with the month end and year-end close process.
Prepare and review journal entries as required.
Reconcile and review various Balance Sheet and Income Statement accounts. Maintain an asset schedule and prepare monthly depreciation entries.
Assist with quarterly inventory counts
Perform special projects (analysis, reports and referencing, etc) and other duties assigned by the Supervisor.

1 to 2 years of professional accounting experience
Proficient in the use of MS Office; specifically, Excel (pivot tables, v-lookup, macros)
Experience with Oracle preferred, but not required.
Detailed oriented and strong organizational skills
Ability to work well individually as well as in a team environment while handling multiple tasks with tight deadlines.
Excellent interpersonal skills
Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree (BS) in Finance, Accounting or Business from 4-year College or university; or four to seven years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
