• Previous experience working out of a bucket truck, climbing poles and working from a ladder
• Ability to read and understand CATV prints/designs
• Mechanically inclined and be willing/able to work with their hands
• Experience in training and mentoring
Job Description
System Services Broadband, a leader in the telecommunications industry for more than 25 years, is now hiring for full time Experienced Aerial Construction Foremen, Lineman, and Trainees for the Central and Southwest Louisiana area.
Job duties include (but are not limited to):
• Outside plant construction (all aspects) new build, maintenance, lash and overlash, fiber, coax, fiber optic cable, and pole transfers
• Aerial construction (strand, cable, fiber, anchors)
• Splicing with forward and reverse activation
• Must be able to lift, push / pull 50 to 80 lbs
• Able to travel for work with overnight stays
• Must be able to work in an outside environment in variable weather conditions
The right candidate will have the preferred qualifications:
• Experience in all aspects outside plant and aerial construction
