Qualifications
Minimum 5 years Telecom construction and/or Construction Walkout experience. Well rounded understanding of permitting, routing, ROW's, easement, & general telecom construction practice required. Ability to read Bentley, AutoCAD, & Spatial prints. Advanced computer skills required. Must be able to identify CATV & commonly used fiber equipment. Professional demeanor & appearance required
Other Requirements
Work vehicle that can carry a ladder, rodder, & equipment required to complete jobs. Equipment need is as follows: computer, measuring wheel, pole measuring stick, good quality camera PPE, hand tools for accessing vaults, MH's, etc. - Rodder & locator are provided.
Job Description
Construction site surveys to provide a scope of work & costing for plant extensions from tie point to termination in building to include - collecting all measurements & data for successful routing,& permitting plant extensions into customer property. Deliverable is a scope of work compiled in excel of pole permit data, color coded pictures of route, field map detailing route, marked up KMZ, building details, as well as a detailed written description.
