Job Description
Construction Foreman / Lineman
The Foreman is responsible for both supervisory tasks as well as the physical construction. Must possess considerable knowledge of methods, materials and techniques used in telecommunications construction. Must be able to communicate effectively, maintain working relations with supervisors and subordinates and resolve problems with appropriate and timely decisions. Performs all duties according to safety procedures and uses appropriate safety equipment. Knowledge and understanding of repairing and replacing aerial line work in telecommunication construction. Has ability to lead subordinates in a crew experience on the job. Has complete understanding of aerial line work in telecommunication construction.
Skills / Experience
• Operate equipment in the field.
• Operate aerial bucket truck.
• Placement of strand, fiber/copper cables in aerial application.
• Function as Lead for in-house crew to include oversight and supervision.
• Bi-lingual (Spanish) a plus but not required.

• Leadership: a demonstrated ability to lead people and get results through others.
• Planning: an ability to think ahead and plan.
• Management: the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
• Problem analysis and problem resolution at a functional level.
• Excellent interpersonal and communications skills.
• Computer proficiency.
• Operation of a Digger Derrick is a plus but not required.
