Job Description
US based construction company is looking for a Director of Supply Chain Management with the ability to manage all aspects of inventory and procurement. Candidate will be required to manage an inventory, purchasing and warehousing groups as well as roll up their sleeves and help. This position may require some interaction with customers. Candidate will need to possess a strong project management background as well as the organizational and problem-solving skills necessary for the development, management, and coordination of multiple projects and schedules.
Job Requirements
• Developing material requirements to satisfy multiple customer requirements.
• Analyzing current processes to identify gaps, improvement opportunities and solutions.
• Manage multiple warehouse locations.
• Develop standard BOM’s based on each customer requirement.
• Strong understanding of Materials management, finance/accounting, project costing and management concepts.
• APICS Certifications are not required but strongly preferred
• Knowledge of Oracle and P6 is preferred.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to multitask in an agile environment.
• Proven ability to build, manage and foster a team-oriented environment
• Excellent leadership and management skills
• Excellent Presentation Skills
• Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Education and/or Experience
Bachelor’s degree (B. A.) or equivalent from four-year college; or 5-7 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
