Pay
We offer a competitive wage and benefit package including, matching 401(k), holiday and personal paid time off, and potential bonus pay. Nightly out of town per diem pay and tools are provided. Company provided tools, equipment, phone, and laptop.
Qualifications
Experience in fiber splicing or telecom knowledge. ~We will train the right person.
Other Requirements
Must reside in the greater Grand Rapids, MI area. Ability to travel Monday-Friday on a regular basis and work day and night shifts within the same week if necessary. Able to be in an on-call rotating schedule for after hours and weekends.
Must have a valid driver’s license, minimal traffic violations and ability to obtain and maintain a DOT Med Card and Michigan chauffeurs (or equivalent) endorsement.
Job Description
Technician is responsible for system outages, trouble shooting and maintenance repairs. Qualified applicants will be proficient in using OTDR's, bucket trucks, termination tools, fusion splicers, etc. Aerial experience is preferred.
