Job Description
Bigham Cable Construction is looking for a Fiber Construction Coordinator
This is a very reputable company and is celebrating it's 40th year in business.
Attend walkout surveys to establish method of constructing
Reviews daily work sheets from the field and updates tracking reports
Prepares quotes and BOM’s for new projects
Maintains and monitors inventory levels
Schedules OSP, ISP construction as well as coaxial and fiber splicing installation activities
Coordinates activities between site personnel, customer contracts and field personnel
QC’s and documents completed work
Prepares as-built documentation packages
Assists and updates Project Manager and Field Supervisor as needed
Assists with permitting
-Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Thorough knowledge of all aspects of CATV construction
Thorough knowledge of fiber optic cable construction
Ability to identify and confirm existing fiber architecture
Ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization
Strong problem-solving skills
Highly organized
Must have earned high-school diploma or equivalent
At least 2 years of cable construction experience
Occasional overnight travel required
Must have valid drivers license
