The work has already begun and we are looking to put together additional aerial crews to start ASAP. This project is scheduled for 10+ years.
Pay
Foreman- $25-35/hr., Linemen- $20-30/hr., Helpers- $13-18/hr. Depending on Exp. Level, Leadership, Safety Consciousness, Quality of Work, Production, etc... We are also offering sign-on bonus after 1 yr. employment up to $2,500.00 and 90 DAYS PERDIAM
Qualifications
All applicants must have AT LEAST a valid driver's license. Class "A" CDL's are very much preferred and compensated for. All applicants must have experience with ADSS (self-support) fiber optic cable. All applicants must pass a pre-employment drug screen. I am looking for experienced lineman that can work together with a crew in a SAFE manner. We are offering VERY competitive pay with benefits and have high expectations of our employees. Bonus' available based on production averages.
Other Requirements
GEI will provide all tools/equipment/trucks to complete projects in the safest, most efficient way possible. We have recently invested over $100k in hyd. drills, hoists, dollies, pulling equipment, rollers, hand-tools, power tools, reel-trailers, etc.... All top of the line equipment and no questions asked we will provide any add'l equipment necessary should a need be brought to our attention. We run late model bucket trucks - 2012 or newer. We have been doing business in Tulsa for 30+Yrs.
Job Description
We are generously offering a 90 day Per-diam for new employees and expect in that time that each employee will find a permanent residence as this build is scheduled for 10+years. We are looking for permanent employees to help grow this division of our business. If you are looking for something long-term or are tired of chasing work, this could be a great opportunity!
Foreman - Take control of a project from start to finish, including reading plans, planning job, coordinating crew members, quality control, red-lines & sequentials, reporting progress to supervisor, etc... Foreman will also be expected to be able to fill in any position should a crew member miss work to keep production up. Advise supervisor of individual crew member's competency levels, recommend pay adjustments and crew changes. ADSS construction experience required.
Lineman - Operate insulated bucket trucks, aerial cable placers, climb poles where necessary, follow Foreman's game plan and work as a team in conjunction with other lineman. Lineman will be responsible for following safe work practices and instructing helpers. Lineman will be responsible for the cleanliness of their trucks. ADSS construction experience required.
Helpers - Set up bucket trucks, gather materials, fill bucket bags, keep bucket trucks clean throughout the day, take notes of sequentials, etc... Helpers should have sufficient experience to know what tools or materials will be needed ahead of time and have them ready for the Lineman they are assisting.
