Qualifications
-Extensive knowledge of all aspects of CATV and Fiber OSP and, ISP construction.
-Excellent project management skills, project documentation skills, planning, scheduling, vendor management, risk assessment, budgeting, change management, and project control.
-Excellent computer skills including MS Excel, Word, Office and willingness with learning new computer software as required.
Other Requirements
-Basic understanding of financial calculations including P and L statements, job costing, estimating and general accounting principles.
-Ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization.
-Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
-Highly organized and detail oriented.
-Minimum 5 years of CATV and Fiber OSP and ISP, construction experience.
Job Description
1. Prepare daily work assignments for crews and/or personnel and coordinate / communicate with field supervisor(s) for the assignment and execution of work.
2. Evaluate in field operations, crew activity, field supervisor activity, crew efficiency, crew safety compliance and general job process.
3. Manage and maintain company and customer records, notices, and specific reports.
4. Responsible for workforce compliance with all safety regulations, safety documents, safety training including all OSHA requirements in concert with company safety and risk manager.
5. Documenting completely and accurately all accident reports (Workman's Compensation, Auto and General Liability), including claim resolution with customers, property owners. This will be performed in concert with the safety / risk manager and COO.
6. Supervise the accurate and on time completion of all required company reports; including as-built maps, daily crew summary reports, hourly employee time sheets, production reports and contractor reports. This shall be done in cooperation with the field supervisor(s)
7. Maintenance and inventory control of all company assets including equipment, tools, and inventory.
8. Crew housing management including, but not limited to, scheduled housing walk throughs and documentation.
9. Staff management including candidate recruitment, assessment, interview and evaluation, hiring, on boarding, employee paperwork and new hire integration and training, employee evaluations and terminations. These duties will be coordinated with Human Resources.
10. Meeting and achieving revenue goals and managing expenses.
11. Review work and confirm its completion according to customer specifications and coordinate all QC functions as required by customer and/or company.
12. Interact with customer representatives regarding work assigned to company, work completion including work scheduling, deadlines, objective etc.
13. Manage and resolve issues for and with customer as necessary
14. Coordinate material pick up, inventories, documentation and reporting as required by company and/or customer
15. Understand and insure contract provisions are met and all operations are in compliance with customer contract and expectations.
16. Other duties as assigned by the COO
