Qualifications
• 1-3 years experience as a CATV Power Supply Field Maintenance Repair Technician installing, upgrading, repairing and maintaining equipment on outside plant sites.
• Must have a minimum of an Associate’s degree in Electronics or equivalent experience.
• Detail oriented
• Good oral and written communication skills
• May be required to lift up to 75 pounds.
Other Requirements
• Licensed and certified to operate Bucket Lift Truck.
• Must have a valid driver’s license, auto insurance and a good driving record.
• Subcontractor/ Independent Contractor must have the insurance and/or bonds coverage and limits required by Federal, Texas and local Laws at all times during the term of Agreement and until completion of all Services associated with Agreement, whichever is later. This includes but is not limited to Worker’s Compensation, General Liability and Auto Insurance
Job Description
Advanced Technical Services (ATS), a company specializing in the repair and maintenance of electronic devices, has immediate openings for Subcontractors/ Independent Contractors qualified as Field Maintenance Technicians in CATV Power Supply for an upcoming project.
The project consists of installation of battery manager and RF surge protectors and drops, replacement of current power supplies, replacement of batteries as needed, inspections of equipment, and repair & maintenance of equipment as directed by customer. All work will be performed on outside plant power supply sites on poles or at ground level.
All equipment will be staged at customer locations and will need to be picked up there as needed. All take out equipment must be returned to customer designated locations.
Daily specific and detailed site and tasks completed reporting will be required by fax or email.
