Qualifications
Qualified Candidates must have own truck and tools. We offer a competitive hourly compensation package!

*Telecom hand tools (wire crimper; wire stripper, etc.)
*Personal hand tools (power drill, hammer, screw drivers, etc)
*Ladders 28' & 6'

*Vehicle Required (ie. Pick-up truck; Cargo Van; SUV etc.) w/ladder rack
Job Description
•Deliver the future of voice, data, internet, entertainment, and cloud services to our customers by installing, residential/small business broadband products such as; HSI, Networking, VDSL, Fiber to Prem., IPTV, and High Definition.
• Analyzes and troubleshoots basic technical problems or issues
•Serve the customer at all levels. Provide the customer with the best customer service. Foster excellence in customer relationships.
•Convey a positive, professional appearance and demeanor when communicating the company’s products and service options to our customers.
•Make decision as to the type of repair required at the customer premise. Determine whether to repair or replace equipment as needed.
•Inspect customer premises to determine the appropriate method of installation or repair in the safest possible manner
•Work closely with the dispatch center for work assignments and service orders.
•Be prepared and enjoy working outside in all types of weather conditions.
•Assist other technical personnel in the field when requested.
•All other duties as assigned.
Job requirements
•Best in class customer service skills to develop strong relationships with our customers.
•Valid driver’s license, with a satisfactory driving record.
•Full participation and successful completion of paid training.
•Willingness and drive to continually keep up with changes in broadband technology and Company product offerings.
•Strong communication skills – ability to explain technical issues to customers.
•Low voltage experience.
Work Environment:
•May climb and work at elevations (e.g., from ladders, lift trucks) exceeding 18 feet.
•May work in confined spaces (e.g., attics, crawl spaces, utility holes).
•May perform strenuous physical activities including, but not limited to: lifting objects weighing over 75 pounds.
•May perform job activities outdoors in different weather conditions (e.g., extreme cold and/or heat, inclement weather).
•When working aloft, employee’s weight and tools combined may not exceed the 300-pound weight limit as specified by the manufacturer.
•Must work varying shifts and hours including possible mandatory overtime, weekends and holidays.
Technician must have own Truck, Van 0r SUV with Ladder Rack
Technician will provide their own tools to perform their job. May include Laptop or Smart Phone
Technician will provide Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required for the position. Lace up boots with a defined 1/2 inch heel, hard hat, Reflective Safety vest, Fall resistor (harness). Safety Cones. Other equipment may be required by local Management.
