In this position, your responsibilities will include site walkouts, site checks for design, fielding, permitting, planning, aerial and underground walkouts, etc. Must know NESC standards. Receives field data and verifies data is in format to support MRE work.

ITC Service Group is currently hiring an Outside Plant Engineer (OSP) for a long term contract in the Houston, TX area. In this position, your responsibilities will include site walkouts, site checks for design, fielding, permitting, planning, aerial and underground walkouts, etc. Must know NESC standards. Receives field data and verifies data is in format to support MRE work. Must conduct a route or site walk down to collect data of all surface features and underground utility data necessary to support the preparation of the construction drawings that are complete and suitable for submittal to local jurisdictions to obtain construction permits. Prepares pole inventory tables for the pole applications summarizing MRE remedies. Depicting outside plant (OSP) aerial layouts utilizing existing project tools and procedures. Local candidates preferred.
