We are searching for a splicing supervisor with a strong commitment to providing exceptional, quality work to our clients and who are looking to become a long term Bear family member.
Responsibilities:
Managing contractors & schedules to ensure each deadline is met
Daily updates of production to the project manager
Inspect traces and photos to ensure they meet client requirements
Responsible for reporting splice docs to client
Turn in street sheets each morning to the admin and ensure they are accurate
Ensure that all our contract partners are following the construction plans
Ensure crews are wearing safety vests, hard hats, safety gear and are outfitted professionally
Verify that the subs have the correct tools and machines to complete their jobs correctly
Inspect all work performed for quality and accuracy
Required skills:
2+ years of splicing experience
Education Level: High School, a combination of education and experience is acceptable
Prior experience in a managerial/supervisory role
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Possess exceptional organizational skills and be detail oriented
Ability to interact effectively with other team members
Capable of working under pressure in a fast paced and quickly changing work environment with deadlines
Ability to work independently without supervision
Prepared to work outdoors in varying weather conditions (i.e. snow, wind, rain, etc.)
