Qualifications
-(5) five years Aerial and/or Underground Fiber Optic and Coax / Copper Construction Experience -Must be able to pass pee-employment testing to include a drug screen and background check -- We are a Drug Free Workplace. -DOT Physicals are required for operating vehicles -Class A CDL is a preferred skill -Ability to complete and pass OSHA training course. -Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. We participate in E-Verify
Other Requirements
Employee should have their own hand tools as required. Company will supply major tools and equipment. We can assist with tool purchases through pay roll deduction at employee's discretion.

BSGI is currently looking for experienced and motivated individuals for our southern California Office. *Directional Drill Operator w/CDL (CDL preferred. Asphalt and Concrete repair experience a plus)
*Directional Drill Locators
*Pot Holing (CDL preferred. Asphalt and Concrete repair experience a plus)
*Underground Foreman w/CDL (CDL preferred. Asphalt and Concrete repair experience a plus)
*Underground Laborers (CDL preferred, Coax Splicing and Concrete finishing Experience a plus)
*Aerial Foreman (Coax Splicing Experience a plus)
*Aerial Lineman (Coax Splicing Experience a plus)
*Aerial Ground hand (Coax Splicing Experience a plus)
NEW BUILDS:
Primary Responsibilities:
*Access utility poles utilizing aerial lift trucks and ladders, enter buildings, vaults, trenches, or man holes to place, maintain or remove conduit/cable and electronic equipment. Work outside and be exposed to all weather conditions. Wear appropriate safety equipment and follow established safety practices and procedures.
*Perform construction work such as digging holes, setting pedestals and vaults, placing poles, laying conduits and cable in the ground, stringing fiber optic and copper/coax cable from pole to pole, pulling fiber optic and copper/coax cable through conduits by hand or pulling equipment. Break out and repair concrete and asphalt as required (asphalt experience a plus), coax splicing and activation of newly installed or repaired plant.
These Positions should expect to spend the majority of their time in the field, while additionally completing minor administrative tasks as required by the manager.
* The daily work schedule and job location varies daily depending on customer requirements. These positions may require extensive hours and/or work outside of normal work hours. These Positions may require a 6-day work week, travel and participation in an on call rotation schedule.
