Qualifications
Verifiable experience placing micro-fiber utilizing the fiber blowing method. Please provide references that reflect your experience performing this type of work. Fiber Splice crews must be familiar with splicing Commscope micro-fiber in an FTTH architecture. (all mid-sheath splices). Must be able to perform bi-directional testing on all fibers spliced and provide documentation as required by the customer.

Fiber Blowing equipment that is compatible with micro-fiber placement.
Job Description
FTTH project in the San Diego market. We are looking for crews with experience blowing and/or fusion splicing micro-fiber. Several hundred thousand feet to complete in 2016. More to come in 2017. Fiber is being blown into newly placed micro-fiber. Crews are currently placing micro-duct and required vaults/peds. Fiber Blowing crews will need to prep the micro-duct in each ped prior to blowing fiber. (attached micro-duct jumpers to create continuity and slack for the mid-sheath entry). They will remove the micro-duct jumper after fiber is blown through and secure fiber utilizing the fiber management within the ped/vault.
