Qualifications
5 years experience in Coax Splicing and activation to 1 GHz. Sweep techs must be proficient using SDA 5000 sweep meters and be able to troubleshoot non-conforming cable to the span. Must understand ingress mitigation and be able to track ingress to the span.
Other Requirements
Working Bucket truck, good ladder or hooks. We are looking for sweep techs that perform forward and return proof of performance testing of their completed nodes. Not required, but a definite plus.
Job Description
225 mile HFC upgrade project. Project is in progress with nodes lit and ready to splice and sweep. We are also looking for aerial crews that are not afraid of West Virginia. Coax and fiber placement and plant maintenance.
