Qualifications
JOURNEYMAN applicants will have CATV or phone knowledge in placing strand and cable, building risers, line maintenance, aerial to buried and G095 spec knowledge. Applicants will have experience operating a bucket truck and climbing. Class A drivers license is a plus. APPRENTICE applicants will preferably have some line experience. Line school experience is a pluss.
Other Requirements
journeyman lineman are expected to have their own basic tools including climbing belt and gaffs and basic hand tools.
Job Description
Well established fast growing CATV contractor is now hiring Journeyman and apprentice lineman. Lineman responsibilites include running a crew to complete maintenance and new build work orders. Lineman will be completing pole transfers, placing strand and coax/fiber cable, placing cable from aerial to underground, splicing and activating.
