Job Responsibilities-Drillers:
Providing Physical Labor for Directional Drilling, Locating and related excavation for the installation of telecommunication cables, ducts, and utility infrastructure, Driving of Trucks, moving of equipment, operating directional drills, Locating and mixing of drilling fluids, Be safety conscious and abide by company safety policies, Read, understand and follow the company policies and procedures, Attend all scheduled work related training and safety meetings, Clean trucks and equipment, check fluids, tire pressures, grease and general maintenance of trucks, equipment and vehicles, Clean and place duct, sand, flow-fill, asphalt, sod, concrete and other materials required to complete and installation of trench. Mix drilling fluids based on drilling and soil conditions. Run VAC-Trucks, excavators, and trenchers, Operate directional drill (12/20 through 40/20). 2 years of experience of Directional Drilling or related experience, Knowledge of all underground utilities, their depth, placement and routing. Ability to lift up to 80 lbs from floor to over head, Must be able to work with basic hand tools. Must have personal safety equipment required for this position. Job Responsibilities-Operators:
Providing physical labor and operation of equipment for excavation and installation of telecommunication cables, utilities and other infrastructure, Pull and place cabling in underground, duct systems. Must have own transportation to and from work Clean trench and place duct, sand, flow-fill, asphalt, sod, concrete and other materials required to complete an installation of trench, Setup and understand cable pulls to include cable routes, pulling tensions, slack requirements, cable racking, and cable dressing for all underground and applications, Organize material and other resources to complete excavation requirements Operation of equipment, backhoe, dump truck, skid steer, fiber and coax placement equipment, and VAC-Trucks, Understand and follow all site specific requirements and project specification Coordinate, schedule and apply the resources required to complete specific tasks of the project. Coordinate traffic control, road closures, flagging, and other site safety procedures as may be required. Conduct jobsite job box safety meetings and complete required paperwork. Understand soil conditions and types. Knowledge of utilities, their depths, placement of each. Ability to layout excavation routes, locate utilities, coordinate traffic control, interface with city and other regulatory entities such as inspectors, customers and general public. Ability to apply the correct resources to a project to create the maximum efficiency and production in a safe environment. Ability to read and understand construction drawings, site maps, prints and other construction documentation. Ability to operate all equipment that Ac Square Inc. uses on a daily basis in the excavation process. Ability to understand and follow instructions. Ability to lift up to 80 lbs from the floor to over your head. Must acquire and be able to work with basic hand tools, including socket-sets, wrenches, and other tools required to work on minor equipment repairs and routine maintenance of equipment. 2 years experience working as an Equipment Operator for Excavation OSP or similar experience background.
