Job Description
We are currently seeking experienced candidates that have background as an Aerial Communications Lineman.Much of the work will be performing aerial communication lineman tasks for fiber optic and copper cable systems for both new and existing applications.The requirements for this job include but not limited too:
Must possess ability to climb
Must have a valid driver's license
Must have a good safety record
Build/Frame wooden H-Frame Transmission Poles
Rigging Experience
Troubleshoot, maintain and repair overhead fiber lines
String and maintain wire (Pulling, Fiber Splicing, Clipping, Stranding & Spacing Line)
Install and maintain bundle conductors, insulators, transformers, junction boxes and sockets
Must be familiar with national, state and local building codes
Must be proficient at reading and interpreting blueprints, maps, and diagrams
Experience with bucket trucks, digger derricks, trenchers, and groundwork with utility line crew required.
A high awareness of safety and compliance with company safety rules is required at all times. Must be committed to working safely
