*Exceptional Candidates* Associates in Electrical Engineering, CDL, four years of field experience, including one year of experience leading/directing small groups, overseeing special projects, and troubleshooting

Job Description
Data Stream is looking for superintendents, electricians, and laborers that have good judgment, are skilled in multi-tasking, have strong attention to detail, excellent analytical skills, and a strong ability to problem solve.You should be able to communicate clearly and professionally with our internal team. This project involves working for long periods of time. You should be able to visually distinguish aerial and underground cable and equipment without aid. You must be able to work under strict time lines.
Superintendent's Duties:
-Planning: Reads and interprets plans, specifications and contract documents. Directs set up of material storage, parking, utilities, and any other start-up items.
-Administration: Prepares a realistic work schedule and holds preparatory meetings prior to start of each new activity to inform personnel how work should be performed. Delegates responsibilities to subordinates and checks their performance.
-Compliance: Walks project sites to identify problems, verify progress, and review quality.
-Execution: Uses good decision making to get tasks accomplished and, when necessary, personally works with other employees to complete required tasks.
-Quality Control: Directs quality control standards and supervises implementation. Ensures that all testing is properly conducted and results are properly recorded.
-Payroll: Ensures time card and other requested information is reported to the office weekly.
-Inventory: Keeps a current inventory of all tools on the job and updates as purchased. Ensures that material is delivered to the construction site per established agreements and as scheduled.
-Reporting: Provides daily job reports with pertinent activities and information.
-Safety: Organizes and conducts on-the-job training for subordinates. Ensures all safety policies are fully enforced on the job site. Reports any equipment or procedures that may be unsafe.
Electrician/Laborers Duties:
You should have an understanding of infrastructure design (highway, sewer, bridge, etc) and construction for the elimination and prevention of conflicts with existing or proposed underground and aerial cable, and for proper installation location within easements and public right of way. Technicians should have knowledge of all municipal and governmental requirements for outside plant work. Experience with aerial and underground cable/fiber facilities a plus.
