• Four year college degree with emphasis in business administration, sales marketing, or other related degree. • Five years of experience in a related telecommunications field or industry segment. • A self-starter, positive attitude, and ability to influence with a strong work ethic, and winning philosophy. • Must be able to provide and maintain a standard operator’s license, and safe driving record.

Job Summary
With minimal supervision, the Manager of Sales and Community will oversee the Retail Stores Channel and Door to Door (D2D) programs to implement new and existing programs, develop strategies to maximize Suddenlink Communications market share and serve as a liaison to the servicing community to promote Suddenlink Communication’s brand, products, and services.

Responsibilities
• Provides quality customer services surrounding the Company Values.
• Analyzes market conditions and provides leadership to Retail Sales and Door to Door (D2D) Sales Teams to achieve growth in market share aligned with the Organization’s goals and strategies.
• Maintains and develops relationships with existing and prospective customers.
• Development and local execution of approved community and branding programs; including but not limited to sales events, community events, philanthropy and charitable contribution in accordance to the guidance of the Corporate Social Responsibility team.
• Develops and builds relationships with community leaders through volunteering in community events, and advancing Suddenlink’s products, services, sponsorships and brand.
• Develops future strategies to ensure revenue growth and participates in the budgeting process.
• Builds quality Retail and Door to Door Sales Teams by participating in the selection, coaching, and development, of Retail and D2D Sales Leaders.
• Resolves complex customer complaints by building a rapport with the customer and using creative problem solving skills.
• Meets or exceeds sales budget by motivating Sales Leaders, establishing goals/incentives for sales teams, and partnering with other functional leaders in Marketing, Sales, and other areas of the Organization and within the community.
• Leads a joint partner planning process with Retail Store and D2D Mangers that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones associated with a productive sales partner relationship.

Essential Functions
• Ability to travel from 25% to 50%, including car, air, and overnight stay.
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds.
• Must be able to work on a laptop, computer, keyboard, up to a full work shift/day.
• Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication.
• Must be able to operate standard office equipment.
• Must be able to stand and/or sit for long periods of time.
