Other Requirements
Reliable aerial placer truck for construction crews. 4 wheeler recommended for some areas. SDA compatible sweep gear for sweep techs. Splicers need 750MC2 and 650MC2 coring tool, along with 750,500,625 tools.All crews on the job site will be required to attend weekly safety meeting in order to work.
Job Description
300 plus mile HFC upgrade in West Virginia. Current plant is being upgrade from 450 MHz to 1 GHz. Need strong aerial crews that understand CATV construction and specs. A lot of make-ready work (pole transfers, DE/RE, anchor/DG/GG placements, Resags) is involved, and all payable items. Over 100 miles of fiber to be over lashed with over 25 miles of coax over lash (anticipate more during system sweep). The area is very rural, with a roughly 70/30 Easement / Street Side split. Crews can't be afraid to venture outside the bucket. There is also a need for coax splicers and sweep techs to upgrade and test these long spans. Crews must do their make-ready and coax placement in their issued areas before placing fiber runs. If you do the make-ready and coax work, you will get the fiber work. Coax/Make-Ready only crews will be considered as well.
