Qualifications
You must be experienced and capable of installing POTS, DSL and HSI. A knowledge of the network is required in addition to excellent customer service skills.
Other Requirements
You must be equipped with all the basic tools and have the ability to test DSL/HSI circuits. A cell phone and laptop are necessary. Your vehicle must be reliable and have a good appearance.
Job Description
These positions are typical of today's I&R positions. In most cases you will receive your installation or repair assignments electronically, and you will subsequently report the results electronically. The assignments can range from POTS to DSL/HSI services in both rural and urban environments. You will need to be able to provision the network through plastic insulated aerial and buried cable. Highly effective customer service skills are most important.
