Job Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
Complete field serviceability surveys to connect commercial buildings, multi-tenant structures, and standalone buildings to our client’s fiber optic and coax plant.
Determine the interior routing of cable by performing physical walkouts including documenting footages and access points. Communicate and negotiate routing with building management
Conduct field survey audits
Ensures quality and compliance to Company's procedures & specifications
Reviews maps & plans necessary to high volume work schedule.
Sketch what is captured in the field.
Mark system print or sketch from cable provider to propose route in detail.
Complete electronic quote for customers using pre-calculated spreadsheet.
Other duties as assigned by Project Manager
Qualifications:
Knowledge of OSP Telecom construction and experience interpreting CATV or Telecom construction/contractor blueprints & as-builds a must.
Working knowledge of Visio or other design software a plus, but not required
Experience with design software a plus, but not required
Must have reliable transportation & a Valid Driver License
Working knowledge of all Microsoft software.
Excellent organizational skills.
College preferred, but not required.
Background check required
Physical Requirements:
Work outside in all types of weather.
Able to bend, stand, sit, crawl, climb, and lift throughout each day to determine street and in-building routes.
