Qualifications
Qualified candidate must have a High School Diploma or equivalent, must be familiar with outside plant construction, design and has excellent communication skills. Candidate must also be competent in the preparation of field notes needed for Aerial, Underground and ISP construction. The ability to work with minimal supervision to complete work in a timely manner is also required.
Other Requirements
Candidate must have a valid driver’s license and pass Criminal background and drug screening as required by our Client
Job Description
- Review completed electronic design to prepare project authorizations, including all necessary supporting documentation.
- Working knowledge of Excel, Word, Visio, Outlook, Google Earth, Auto CAD, and Adobe.
- Provide necessary documents to secure all Right-of-Way (ROW), road, railroad, pole, state and county permits.
- Walkout physical project locations to prepare information to initiate aerial or underground construction estimates and timelines.
- Compiles and delivers project addresses, including all node identifier information to date entry for inclusion into the billing system records.
- Tracks and record each phase of each project through completion.
- Work closely with all utilities to insure timely completion of all projects.
- Review Splicing documentation to ensure accuracy
- Confirm project as-built information and deliver changes to design to update maps and databases.
- Prepares weekly construction reports and/or posts project status to a public file.
