Job Description
Hiring 15-20 techs in the Peoria area. If you are a current/active tech receiving a route from an O&O contractor in the market we will not hire you unless you get a release from you current contract company.
Empire Satellite LLC, a DirecTV Contract Company has openings in the PEORIA area. Join our team as a Contract Satellite TV Technician installing DIRECTV services! Our contractors can earn over $300+ a day.

Responsibilities:
Plans installations by evaluating location; locating line of sight; laying-out equipment and wiring plan.
Establishes satellite system by installing dish; running and pulling cable; programming and calibrating equipment; adhering to codes, regulations, and standards.
Verifies system by testing equipment and connections; identifying and correcting problems.
Activate the customer's service.
Maintains records by documenting installation and service.
Repairs service by listening to customer's description of problems; diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing problems by replacing and/or upgrading components.
Communicate with the customer and ensure that the customer thoroughly understands how to work the system.
Maintains safe work environment by following safe working practices.
Responsible for all inventories of materials and supplies.
Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical.

Job Requirements: Satellite TV Installation Technician
Prior work experience in construction, installation, wiring, or maintenance preferred
To be Successful in this position you must:
Have a dependable truck, SUV or Van to carry a 24-28ft ladder
Be able to lift 50 lbs and climb 40 foot ladders.
Be a great communicator, both verbally and written.
Be able to provide amazing customer service, generally we look for 1-2 years of experience working and communicating in-person with customers.
Have a valid drivers license.
Take and pass a drug test.
Meet our criminal and MVR (driving record) background screening criteria
