Start (6-6-16) once all paperwork and forms are successfully completed and results are acceptable. Techs must take and pass a 7 day training course on P&P and testing fiosk system. (Training is paid for in addition per diem is offered.
Pay
Contractor pay is flat daily rates for the Copper I&M techs which will be responsible inside wiring to devices (400.00 daily rate 10-12 hours. Fiber I&M Techs will be responsible for installation of Fiber to home 700.00 daily rate.
Qualifications
Techs must have all hand tools and meters associated with either the I&M Inside tech or Fiber splicing. Tech must also have reliable transportation and 28ft along with 6ft ladders. Tools may be purchased and payroll deducted for quality technician. Hand tools are to include compression, coaxial stripper, pliers, 7/16 wrench etc. There will be a weekly deduction for WC and GL plus auto policy that has to be added to all contractor vehicles per Cable & More's contract with Verizon. Other Requirements
Techs will be required to travel to assigned market which should fall in the designated areas. A detailed list will be created once all techs are in market and ready to complete final testing. Gas assistance may be provided to very reliable, quality technicians.
Job Description
C&M is proud to announce that due to recent strike issues, Verizon has extended it hands in an effort to staff its Copper Inside Cabler and Fiber Splicing contract positions. With 7 days paid training inside cablers will be responsible for setting up fiosk video, internet and phone receivers. Fiber Splicers will be responsible for running dedicated fiber to designated D-Marks terminating and testing.
Work schedule will be Monday trough Friday (Saturday Possibly). Each day will consist of a minimum of 10 hours worked up to 12. These contracts will be awarded at 30 day intervals and charge backs apply if techs leave market with a contract open. Contractors must be available to work until strike has ended.
