Work has already begun, however, we are currently in a ramp up phase for proposed 10 year build for MAJOR player in Tulsa. Contract has been secured, now we need to find quality people to help bring it in! Immediate employment available!
Pay
Full time w/OT, $20-$30/hour depending on experience & guar. 40hrs/wk for qualified lineman, $15-$20/hour for experienced groundman. Pay every 2nd Wed with dir. deposit available. 401k, Paid Vacation, Insurance, Work Comp., SIGN ON BONUS for Lineman!
Qualifications
Lineman - At least 10 yrs experience in aerial fiber construction - specifically ADSS. Must be an extremely safety conscious person with attention to detail. Valid drivers license required at minimum, Class A CDL preferred but not required, must pass pre-employment drug screen & random testing. Groundman - Must have at least 3 yrs exp as groundman with aerial crew, knowledge of ADSS, valid drivers license w/clean driving record Class A CDL preferred. Pre-employment drug screen & random testing.
Other Requirements
All tools necessary for completion of jobs will be provided by GEI. We have recently invested over 150k in trucks, tools, equipment, safety equipment, climbing gear, etc... Late model Internationals - TA45M, L42. Any additional tools/equipment/safety equipment to make job safer/faster/easier will be provided with no questions. Class A CDL required within 6 months of hire date. Sign-On Bonus for lineman position paid out after 1 year employment ($2,500.00).
Job Description
Contract includes mainly building short distance (less than 10 mile) fiber pathways for connectivity between customer's properties (several hundred). Planning job steps, framing poles, moving telcom that is in conflict with our future attachment point, stringing & tensioning fiber, pulling through existing risers and into term. point, redlining, customer communication, materials inventory, etc... Adhering to customer's safety requirements will be of utmost importance throughout this build. We will be focusing on Safety, Customer Service and Productivity in that order.
