Valid and clean driving record without driving restrictions; OSHA10 preferred; 5+ years as a lead foreman

All equipment, and tools are provided by Waveguide.
Job Description
JOB DESCRIPTION
Must be able to receive any work within the normal scope of work we do and be able to complete in a timely fashion (aerial and underground)
Responsible for all crew paperwork and documentation; turn in all correct documentation associated with job upon completion of the task
Responsible for delegating work within the crew and take a leadership role by taking responsibility for the actions of himself and his crew
Ability to able to read maps (design), able to run assist wheel and figure 8 fiber
Can hook and climb poles successfully, assemble stock I.E. snow shoes
Can build strand, load a lasher, lash cable and fiber and be able to do all basic pole transfers
Stock truck with stock for the day’s job assignment
Check oil and do VIR before every shift
Responsible for general organization of truck and cleanliness of truck both in and out
Accountable for the advancement and training of anyone on the levels below them
Conscientious regarding the safety of him/herself at times as well as the safety of every other crew member or individual on the job site
QUALIFICATIONS
Show up for work daily and on time
Must be able to pass Criminal Background Check, Sexual Offender Background Check, Drug Screen
Must continue to possess a Valid Driver’s License and pass random driver’s license screenings
Ability to make independent judgment and perform repetitive tasks
Regular contact with co-workers and customers
Within 90 days of start date, take and pass OSHA-10 Certification
Travel a requirement; nights & weekends as well
Overtime should be expected
PHYSICAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Repeated and frequent ability to lift, from floor to above head 80 lbs continuously
Ability to sit, stand, climb, kneel, bend, lift, crawl, squat, reach and utilize both hands and feet in an aerial and underground capacity
Environmental Conditions exposure is heat, cold, dust, wet, vibration and very loud
Waveguide is located in Nashua NH but we regularly work throughout New England as well as PA and MD
