Qualifications
High School Diploma, Previous Broadband Experience, Fiber splicing, Fiber troubleshooting, RF troubleshooting, Cable splicing, Headend troubleshooting and SD/HD/Digital set up and repair.
Other Requirements
All tools, equipment, vehicle provided. Must understand all FCC rules and regulations and meter requirements. Must have valid drivers license and clean driving record.
Job Description
Experienced technician needed for operating and maintaining an expanding cable system. The candidate should be experienced with constructing overhead and underground subdivisions.
This individual must be able to sweep and balance a 750 MHz SA system, both forward and reverse, and be able to splice RF cable as well as fiber.
Experience with JDSU and CLI meters helpful.
This position will be responsible for the headend and signal processing and day to day system maintenance.
Knowledge of HD and Digital platforms a plus.
Also responsible for supervising and training installers and technicians.
