Hourly, rate based upon experience. Starting range $15.00 - $18.00 per hour. Typically 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
Qualifications
Must have verifiable experience. Job requires interaction with subscribers/property owners, supervising trenching crew, splicing and activation. Requires knowledge of underground construction techniques. Missile and directional boring experience a big plus.
Other Requirements
Must have clean driving record and be self-motivating, willing to work late if required. Must have own splicing tools (.500, .540, .750, .860). You will be required to keep daily work logs as well as filling out project details. Will also require transporting trenching crew to and from the job sites, time keeping, production and attendance records.
Job Description
Job entails running a hand trench/maintenance crew. Responsibilities include transporting crew to and from job site, contacting property owners to advise of work being performed, ensuring crew is performing work to company standards, ensure that subscriber service interruptions are kept to a minimum, ensure restoration is done to at minimum to 'like condition' including repairing any damaged irrigation lines, splice in replaced span and ensure service has been restored, as well as perform any other related maintenance services. Company vehicle provided (not for take home or personal use), sick time after 90 days and vacation pay after one year.
