Pay
Based on Ability and Experience. Production pay is available to the right crew. Entire crew must have experience working together and all agree on working production rates.
Qualifications
Experience in underground conduit, fiber and coax construction is required Previous experience operating a bore machine and other equipment as needed to complete your job is required CDL will be required and a bonus if you already possess one. The ability of at least 1 person on the crew to speak and understand English required
Other Requirements
Knowledge of reading and understanding maps and blueprints is required Knowledge of various cable sizes and drill heads and other attachments a plus Willing and able to work outdoors in all types of weather (i.e. snow, rain, wind, etc.) if required to get your job complete
Job Description
•Assist with the directional drill process in accordance with maps and blueprints and designated plans as needed
•Responsible for locating cables and exposing any other facilities as needed before the drill process has started and in accordance with maps and blueprints and designated plans
•Maintains equipment per service requirements and safety guidelines
•Assists with construction clean-up as necessary
•And any other duties and responsibilities as assigned
•Ability to work in various environments/settings with moderate to loud noise levels
•Able to work in trenches, manholes and any other setting as needed
•Prepared to sit, stand, stop, crouch, reach and lift for long periods of time
•Able to lift up to 75 lbs. unassisted
•Capable to use full-range of motion in fingers, hand, arm, legs and wrists to operate necessary tools/equipment
