Must be incorporated, have the proper WC/GL and Vehicle insurance limits. All applicants must be able to pass a crimshield background check and drug screen. Must have bucket trucks, ladders, tools, safety equipment. Must have the skill set to do aerial plant construction including but not limited to damaged plant replacements, pole transfers, pole violations, new build, pole make ready and strand placement, coax splicing, fiber splicing, coax/ fiber wreck out, coax/fiber placement and lashing.

GENERAL DUTIES:
• Perform line maintenance, repair and construction.
• Ability to splice coax/fiber and ensure that it meets quality control procedures
• Must have the ability to safely operate a boom truck, climb poles as needed, and utilize standard tools of the trade.
• Pull coax / fiber through conduit’s, wire chase’s, and micro duct
• Ability to maintain and organize paper work, ensure signal levels meet requirements, and trouble shoot as needed.
• Flexibility to work across all divisions (underground, aerial, fiber, coax)
• Must be knowledgeable with the materials needed, and process to strip and terminate various types of cables including fiber, and coax.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
• Working knowledge of necessary protective equipment needed for work being done
• Ability to accurately read and record meter data.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
• Must be able to pass CrimSheild Background Check, MVR and Drug Test
• Possession of a valid driver’s license with the State of Residence.
• Ability to respond to after-hours outages, emergencies or other situations within twenty (20) minutes.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
